Cure EB Foundation operates as an entirely independent organisation, unaffiliated with any other entity, dedicated to raising vital funds for EB research.
Periodically, Cure EB Foundation collaborates with like-minded organisation's such as Cure EB, DEBRA, and others to co-fund projects. Pooling resources ensures sufficient financial support for advancing research that holds promise in improving existing treatments, developing new therapies, and ultimately alleviating EB-related pain.
Cure EB Foundation occasionally leverages pre-established SAP, benefiting from shared knowledge and insights to identify funding opportunities. To date we have collaborated with UK based, Cure EB. This collaboration enables us to evaluate grant applications from researchers worldwide with the guidance of an experienced panel. In the future other panels may be utilised.
Research is costly, and relying solely on one organization's financial resources is impractical. By combining funding from multiple organisations when appropriate, we can expedite access to treatments and trials. Leveraging proven strategies accelerates progress towards finding a cure.
While Cure EB Foundation utilizes Cure EB's and other SAP's, we maintain full autonomy in funding allocations. We are not obligated to support Cure EB UK or other like minded organisations, or its projects, instead, prioritizing projects aligning with Cure EB Foundation's strategic objectives of finding a cure for EB. Our decisions are informed by the SAP's advice and recommendations, guiding funding allocations at our discretion.
In addition to the above, please note, Cure EB Foundation is not associated with EB Research Partnership Inc or EB Research Partnership (Australia) Limited. Cure EB Charity Foundation, as mentioned above, is a separate, charity organisation, established by individuals previously involved with EB Research Partnership (Australia) Limited and its predecessor organisation.
At the request of EBRP, Cure EB Charity Foundation has changed the colour of our logo to avoid confusion between the branding of Cure EB Charity Foundation and EB Research Partnership Inc or EB Research Partnership (Australia) Limited.
Cure EB Charity Foundation, EBRP and EBRP acknowledge that the work undertaken by each entity is an important part of the international network of charities dedicated to scientific research associated EB.
